April 16 Workout

Groups 1 & 2:  Warm-up with ¼ mile jog; sprint 100m, 200m, 200m, 100m with rest in between each; Standing Long Jump.  Find a spot in your yard and jump from a standing position.  Mark out the distance and repeat 3-5 times, trying to increase the distance each time.  Cool down with 1/2 mile jog.  Stretch.

 

Groups 3 & 4:  Jog ½ mile; sprint 100m, 200m, 400m, 200m, 100m with rest in between each; Standing Long Jump.  Find a spot in your yard and jump from a standing position.  Mark out the distance and repeat 3-5 times, trying to increase the distance each time.  Cool down with 1/2 mile jog.  Stretch.

 

Distance runners in Groups 3 & 4:
One mile warm-up jog, followed by 200m, 400m, 500m, 400m, 200m; Standing Long Jump.  Find a spot in your yard and jump from a standing position.  Mark out the distance and repeat 3-5 times, trying to increase the distance each time.   One mile cool down jog and stretch.
