Track Meets this week, practices, and extra Monday session

Track parents-

Results are up on the website for our 1K and 2K cross country races yesterday at the Wolf Swamp fields. A shout-out to Gabe Macias for setting the 2K course record with a time of 7:29.

We have a busy, busy week.

Thursday, May 31 is the middle school meet vs. Amherst. The bus will pick up the kids from Glenbrook and Williams middle schools. We leave right after school and the meet begins around 4:00. We want EVERY middle schooler to run this meet. I will email the details about the bus pickup and dropoff in a separate email to middle school parents. If you have not signed up on the website, please do so we know who will be on the bus and what events they are running.

Saturday, June 2 is our regular meet at LHS at 9 am. We will be running against Ludlow. Sign-ups are open. Deadline is Wednesday, May 30 at 5 pm. We will also have a handful of middle school athletes competing at the Massachusetts Middle School state meet in Clinton, MA on June 2.

Hans and I will have our regular extra Monday session tomorrow, May 28 5-6 pm at the Wolf Swamp fields for Groups 3 and 4 throwers and distance runners.

Tuesday's practice will be at LHS. Thursday's practice for the elementary school kids will also be at LHS.
