XC this week

We've got a bunch of stuff going on this week:

Monday: Come see the LHS XC teams compete against East Longmeadow and Central at Forest Park. I plan to be out there, and I expect to see some alums from our track and XC programs out there. The high school coach tells me that the races will start at 4 (or a little after) at the ball fields in front of the Walker grandstand.

Tuesday: Regular practice for Elementary and Middle School at Wolf Swamp fields. Middle schoolers should bring signed waivers for the Granby meet, if they haven't already.

Wednesday: Special Practice for Elementary only at WS fields because Cari will be out of town Thursday.

Thursday: Western Mass. Middle School Invitational at Dufresne Park, Granby, MA. Bus will pick up at Birchland Park at 2:10, Glenbrook at 2:20, Williams at 2:30. First race at 4:10. No practice for Elementary.

Saturday: No practice or race because of the competing Halloween Hustle 5K at Center School. Athletes not running the 5K should run 3-4 miles on their own.
