4/27: Track This Week

Several important things in this email:

This week we have Middle School at the Bement Invitational and Elementary at home for our Saturday meet at Longmeadow High School.

1. May 3 Middle School Meet @ Deerfield Academy (Bement Invitational). This is a great meet and we have a bus (8:00 am departure) to take our middle schoolers up to the meet. You can also drive up yourself. You must sign up on the link on the home page of longmeadowtrack.org as the meet organizers want us to submit entries as a team. You will indicate your child’s events and whether they will be taking the bus or not. Check out the meet schedule and other details by clicking on the documents on the longmeadowtrack.org home page.

2. May 3 Elementary Meet @ Longmeadow High School. Deadline for sign-up on athletic.net is Thursday at 7 pm.

3. Thursday practice is at Blueberry Hill Elementary due to a high school track meet.

4. Middle School State Meet. Take a look at the Middle School State Meet tab on the website for the qualifying standards for the June 6 or 7 (depending on your school’s division) middle school state meet.

And finally, congratulations to Connor Lombardo for reaching the standard for the Shuttle Run Challenge over April break!
