Track parents-

1.  The Massachusetts Middle School State Meet is June 6 or 7 (depending on the middle school your child attends).  We have a number of qualifiers--you can check your child's performances against the state standards on the MS State Meet tab of longmeadowtrack.org.  There is a link on that page to a spreadsheet with qualifiers and almost qualifiers. If you think I have omitted your child and he/she wants to run in the state meet, please email me directly. There is also a link on the longmeadowtrack.org home page to indicate your interest in registering–this is due Thursday, May 29.

2.  There are two USATF track meets–June 1 and June 13-14, both in Wenham, MA. There are no qualifying standards for these meets and they are open to athletes ages 7-18. Check out the “USATF Meets” page on longmeadowtrack.org for all the information about the meets, how to obtain the necessary USTAF membership, and how to register for the meets on athletic.net. The June 13-14 meet is a qualifier for junior olympic regional and national meets later in the summer.

3.  Looking further ahead into the summer, there is a summer track meet series in July in Manchester, CT that is free for youth: https://runsignup.com/Race/CT/Manchester/MRCTrackFieldSeries
