5/11: Track this week

Track parents and guardians-

1. After a very disurpted week of practice, we were able to dodge the raindrops on Saturday and have a great meet with Wilbraham. The results are posted on longmeadowtrack.org website.

2. Practice will be at the Longmeadow High School track all week (yeah!)

3. Registration is open on athletic.net until Thursday at 7 pm for our May 17 meet at the LHS track. The middle schoolers will be running against Amherst Middle School. We are still looking for volunteers to help with the meet on Saturday because we will be missing a number of our teen coaches who have their own high school meet on Saturday. No knowledge of track and field is necessary. We do need folks who can be there for the whole meet. Just email me directly if you are available. Thanks!

4. Finally, middle school parents should check out our MS State Meet page to learn about the state meet and the qualifying standards. A number of our kids have qualified already. For elementary and middle school athletes, stay tuned for information about USATF junior olympic meets in June.
