Track parents and guardians:
At tomorrow’s (May 17) meet at the LHS track, we are hosting Amherst Middle School. We will have middle school relay races (4x400 and 4x100)--interested relay athletes should check in at the blue tent 9:15-9:30.
Elementary should wear their color T-shirt because they will be having a Blue vs. Green vs. Red competition. Middle schoolers should wear their black/white singlets. Everyone needs to wear their bib number (see below if you have lost yours). The order of events and schedule is below, but take note that if you are doing high jump for Grades 4-5 or 6-8, you will have to arrive early. (HJ starts at 8:30 for 4-5 and 9:00 for 6-8).
The meet will be run in 3 shifts, lasting about 45-50 minutes each. Keep in mind that these times are approximate. Grades 1-3 will be first, with the gun going off at 8:30 for the first running event, and field events will begin. Grades 4-5 are next, Grades 6-8 are last.

In the event of a conflict between a running event and field event, the running event takes priority. Your child should leave the field event after telling the official, go to the running event, and then return to complete the field event.
Bib Number
Your child must wear his/her bib number. Please RETAIN your bib number for the rest of the season. You will use it at each meet. If you have lost your bib number, please go to the scorer's table for assistance.
Uniforms
If you have not yet picked up your uniform pack with your bib, we will have those near the blue tent.
Water Bottles: don't forget your own water bottle (one quart).
Sunscreen: It is very easy to get burned this time of the year. Apply sunscreen early and often!
